A major attention is focused on the quality of the steel we process.

A selected steel source undergoes a thorough qualification process with 2 consecutive trial lot coils; if conclusive, a larger final larger lot is tested to release full approval to use this source. Along the stamp ability of the steel and its mechanical properties (Re, Rm and %elongation), magnetic properties such as core loss and permeability are double checked compared to steel mill inspection reports.

Once selected and approved, a regular steel supplier undergoes our internal RBourgeois China inspection process: each steel source is being checked and controlled every month for every grade supplied. In house capabilities offer testing hardness and elongation for the mechanical properties, and core loss and inductions for the magnetic properties.

We hold records of all datas measured per supplier and per grade over time.
